Motihari (Bihar): With his round eye-glasses, fringe covering his forehead Rohit Mishra the Supreme Leader of Mahatma Gandhi Central University was born on 21st August 1998 in a middle class Brahman family at Motihari. He became involvement in protests against fee hikes, library funding cuts, hostel shortages, increased electricity and water charges and dress and time restrictions on university students. Following the introduction of new fee structure in 2017, MGCU became the one of the most expensive public university of India. He held the view that public university should not be act like private or for - profit institutions. He started the protest for complete withdrawal of increment in fee for new academic year.
